Winter turns into spring in Paris the same way it does everywhere else in the world. Slowly, and not without a bit of taunting. March was sublime, warm sun and trips to the Bois de Vincennes with the newest member of the family, Figaro. But April turned frigid, and the outdoor wanderings for new pastries, and food trucks, turned into indoor hidings-from-the-rain, drinking wine, eating charcuturie, and waiting patiently for summer. Paris is busy this time of year. Busy with auditions, with food adventures, with entrepreneurial endeavors, with thoughts about the future, and with dreams of the countryside, travel, and as always, of full glasses of white wine.
